Intrumental Metamorphosis is far more than just a performance and far more than an unusual concert. It is a veracious voyage of the soul across five centuries and five nations made possible by the expressive power of music.

An hexaphonic system made with high fidelity speakers that surround the stalls and piloted by a system which boasts a THX certificate, allows for the spatialization of the sounds from the musical instruments and the five off-stage voices, thus emerging the audience in the worlds evoked by this journey. A video installation in rear-projection accompanies the audience along the journey into the world of music.

Starting from the guitar’s most ancient variants, proceeding with the most unusual ones (49-string guitar) and ending with the most advanced forms thanks to Octopus, Paolo leads the spectator through several stages, each of which contains an extract and the overpowering story of the composer who created it.
